At Baumeier, we have brought so many different projects to life. One project that we brought to life this past year was a creative, fun public art piece by artist Laura Marotta. Utilizing her artwork, our design support team created a working model of her oversized Bead Maze. We manufactured and assembled all of the pieces of this fantastic work of art that is now on display at the West Harbour GO Station in Hamilton. We are proud to have been a part of this unique project from start to finish, beginning with creating a 3D design concept in SolidWorks, all the way through to assembly.

Baumeier is always working hard to bring all types of projects to life for our customers, ranging from small pieces to large, oversized pieces. If a customer can dream it up, we can bring that dream to life. One of these such pieces is an amazing piece of public art placed in the heart of Square One’s food court in Mississauga. The awe-inspiring piece, entitled “Lambent” is a stunning oversized chandelier imagined and designed by talented Canadian artists Daniel Young and Christian Giroux. Baumeier was proud to bring the 40 ft, 6500 pound stainless steel chandelier to life through our high quality manufacturing and assembly processes.

Baumeier has made many investments in top-of-the-line equipment over the years to ensure that we can bring a diverse range of projects to life and “Make It Happen” for our customers. One of these imperative investments is the Starvision CNC Milling Machine. This Vertical Milling Unit includes a process table that measures 4ft x 10ft x 20ft and runs in 5 axis mode. Also, the end cabinet door can be opened; allowing for parts that extend beyond 20 feet in length.
Baumeier Corp has partnered with ClaroNav to manufacture Surgical 3D Optical Tracking Instruments for their Medical NaviEnt Navigation System. These Surgical Instruments are made with the utmost precision to collaborate with laser optic measuring, allowing surgeons to measure within .05mm tolerances while performing ENT procedures. We as a company are proud to be a part of ClaroNav’s success as well as look forward to working together in the future. Check out the video to get a look at how their impressive 3D Optical ENT Tracking system works!
We at Baumeier Corporation are proud to have been a part of the manufacturing process for similar tools that are to be utilized for the same types of procedures as shown in the video clip below.
Baumeier is proud to announce this is our first year working with the team as a sponsor. This summer the team competed in the “American Solar Challenge”, a multi-day, cross-country road race across North America which hosts competing solar car teams from countries all around the world. This year’s Solar Challenge route took place over 8 days on a 1,975 mile road course traveling through 7 states from Brecksville, OH to Hot Springs, SD. After encountering numerous challenges along the 1900 mile route, the team pushed through and successfully placed 3rd out of all of the competing teams at the 2016 American Solar Challenge! We are a proud sponsor, with our contribution toward the team being the creation of the molds for the car’s canopy. We at Baumeier are so honoured we could help them on their journey toward their impressive finish!
We will be closed from December 25th to January 1st and will reopen for business on January 2nd, 2014.
